Some Indiana Senators Reject Trump Administration Redistricting Agenda

The special session Governor Braun called for Nov. 3, 2025, to discuss mid-cycle redistricting? It was delayed. The special session Braun then called to start Dec. 1, 2025? Canceled. Why? Because they do not have the votes to move forward.

Let’s be clear about what just happened: Your voices are being heard. When Hoosiers started calling legislators, when protests were being organized across the state, when newspapers started asking hard questions—they hit the pause button.

But here’s the truth: Governor Braun and other redistricting supporters are not happy about this. They haven’t given up on drawing more Republican-leaning districts (districts currently are 7-2 GOP)—they’re just regrouping.

Call. Show Up. Share. The time for action is now.

All eyes are on Indiana. This is how democracy dies. This is urgent. This is our moment. Let’s do something!
