DSSIN leadership says, “Maria is being held in the Grayson County jail in Leitchfield, Ky, which is 36% over capacity. Women are sleeping on the floors while they await release or deportation. The incarceration business is BIG money, hence local county jails welcome ICE detainees. The federal government pays more for these "prisoners" than state and county. She has not committed a crime and has been following proper procedure by showing up at immigration appointments. WHY IS SHE HERE? Because she is brown and Steven Miller, a white supremacist racist has demanded ICE make 3,000 arrests per day and deport 1 million immigrants in 6 months. THIS IS ALL ABOUT RACE.”
