State of Indiana Election Study Public Meeting (Diego Morales, Secretary of State)
Information provided by Benita:
As required by HEA 1633 the state has to have 3 meetings to discuss these matters before taking action.
This is the second meeting, this one is for the south part of the state.
The meeting will be on the matter of restructuring local election timing and requiring counties to use vote centers and not their precinct locations that we still do in Clark County. Restructuring would include Municipal Election (Cities and towns) on the same year they have Presidential elections.
Redistricting is not included in this meeting.
