Every conversation will have a different topic, shared in advance. Tonight we’re talking about the issues & concerns surrounding the separation of church and state.

These days, virtually any political debate will become an argument about constitutionality, and few matters are more contentious than the separation of church and state.

Today we have national movements like Project 2025 and local efforts such as the LifeWise Academy trying to reshape our government and culture. Many religious activists further seek to coerce us in the most personal aspects of our lives.

At our next meeting, we’ll discuss the influence of religion, the rise of Christian nationalism and the contested boundary between church and state.
