About the Evening

We’ll kick things off with a brief PPE update so Dan can see the important work our committee has been doing — then the floor opens up for your questions!

About Dan Canon:

Dan is a constitutional and civil rights attorney best known as lead counsel in Obergefell v. Hodges, the landmark Supreme Court case that brought marriage equality to all fifty states. He’s a Clark/Floyd County native, law professor at the University of Louisville’s Brandeis School of Law, author of Pleading Out, and a passionate advocate for civil rights and democratic institutions. We’re thrilled to have him with us!

This is a not-to-be-missed opportunity to connect with one of the region’s most respected legal voices on the issues that matter most to our community.
